I'll keep swinging for the fences, It's like this heart is defenseless, against the passion pumping through my veins. Blood, sweat, tears, it's a calling - And if I can't walk? I will be crawling. Though it might flicker, they cannot kill the flame. This ain't religion, it's devotion, a 3-6-5, every minute, every day re-dedication. So in the middle of the madness, even if they stretch me out like a canvas, I will still not fit in their frame. There is no way I could stop nor quit; this is deeply in my heart, it's not just on my lips: It's in my heart, yeah, I'm all in.
Even if my breakthrough never comes, even if my daylight never dawns, Even if my dreams fall to the ground. Even if the wheels fall off, when the spotlight fades, for the rest of my days, I will fight to give You praise, lift Your banner high, till the day I die.
Be exalted now in the heavens, As your glory fills this place, You alone deserve our praise, You’re the name above all names! Your Name. Your Name. Your Name.... Your Name is above anxieties, Your Name is above insecurities, Your Name is above each and every disease.
Your Name is protection, Your Name is a declaration, Your Name stands above every king, and every nation, Your Name is the harbor through every storm, even if our ships wreck, our sails get torn, even through tempests, and whipping rain, even through every bitter tear, falling like rain. Even through sleepless nights, and days in pain. Even when all seems lost, and there seems nothing to gain. Even through the dark clouds hanging on the horizon, You are the promise, the hope, the melody, the song, For our hearts to be strong, our souls to endure. Because of You, to every ill Your Name holds a cure. And though the night may fall, and we may fall apart, though there may be heart-break, for it’s easy to break a heart. In times with zero motivation, and floods of frustration, when darkness seems to reign, and be here to prevail, we can always hold onto the power in Your Name.
And alhough hopes may shatter, one truth remains, all praise goes to You, and Your Name above all names.
